Sounds like a simple truth but often gets omitted or given too little importance

During graduate school we are often reminded to keep learners in mind. Although it may sound simple I always had to remind myself as I was creating lessons. Creating lessons and testing them out with actual learners is beneficial to see if it is actually going to work or not. It also allows the creator to fix problems in the early stages before the final product. Asking for feedback is also beneficial so that the feedback can help improve the plan as well as see it through the eyes of the learner.

The author wants to raise awareness on the impact that technology is having into the classrooms, stating as example the change of traditional printed materials in a classroom to digital ones, and how much does this affect the role of an educator, and whether technology will replace or just change the importance of a teacher. However, the article wants the reader to reflect that it is important for both students and teachers to learn to use digital tools, in ways that will contribute the learning process.
